You can pin live report pages to dashboard if you want this functionality, or use a report instead.

Was this issue ever resolved? It's a nuisance if you can't drill through on the dashboard because you can only share Dashboard and not the report itself

the drill option do not show in the graph when i pin the live page!!

We tried the Pin Live and the icons for drill do not show up. So, are you saying this is a bug?

I've pinned live report in dashboard but the drill down doesn't work. Would appreciated if this feature to be fixed and prioritize. Thanks.

This feature is very much required. I am not sure what's stopping Microsoft team to prioritize this. I have spend days preparing a dashboard with a certain objective, in which drill down is extremely "pivotal" criteria & now I observe that this feature is not at all functioning in Dashboard version. It's extremely ridiculous to have something in Report version & can't be replicated in Dashboard version. What's the point of having this feature in Report version then ? I just can't understand. Would appreciate, if Microsoft team can really prioritize this feature in next release asap.

I am really hoping for a new update from Kim as what is suggested does not work.

How has this idea been declined?? It's something I, and from scrolling through the comments, many other users could really do with as well. Kim you obviously have not understood the request.
