The ‘Full Screen mode’ could become more useful for presenting reports on dedicated large screens if it became just a bit more dynamic. Whilst it is currently possible to scroll through report sheets by clicking the arrows in the bottom right corner, it would be most valuable to be able to automate such browsing. A solution could be to introduce a “Play” button that starts a slideshow scrolling through the available report sheets according to a customizable time interval.

This is now available in the Windows Power BI app! Check out the details here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/enhancing-presentation-mode-with-slideshow-in-windows-power-bi-app/

RE: Slideshow in Full Screen/TV mode

Try the chrome extension called rotisserie. You can input the individual URL's for each power BI report and then it will scroll through each report at a time interval you specify. I have also been able to cast it to a TV screen using a chrome-cast. Just can't get it to display the report in full screen mode i.e. you still see the "Power BI" menu at the top of the screen. You don't really notice it too much, but it looks much nicer in full screen mode.

We use a system called Xibo for our digital signage...basically it will rotate on a schedule a bunch of URLs to display...If would be good if we could generate a URL for read only TV viewing so we don't have to authenticate. This would make life a lot easier!

Along with the KPI metrics, I am also streaming live feed from Facebook on a widget which seems to only work on ie and not on firefox. Also, the dashboard does not get refreshed automatically. I need to refresh the browser to get the new changes on screen. The other tiles with statistics seem to be fine including the feed from the streaming data set through API. And every time I refresh the browser, I also then need to do 'Fit to screen'. Can the browser refresh and fit to screen done automatically? As someone suggested, a 'Play' mode is a 'Must have' if we want to display dashboards on screen.

Agreed. This would be a feature with great benefits to a host of businesses wishing to view their data loads in real time.

RE: Slideshow in Full Screen/TV mode

There are a few other discussion boards with this same topic. We would all like to have the ability for Auto rotation on large screens with auto refresh. Along with the ability to pause, move forward or back. Please consolidate the votes for the other suggestions as it adds up to many more.... still waiting
