Relationships - Change Cardinality Default from *:1 to 1:*

Its only minor, but I thought I’d share some feedback that I believe would help Power BI Noobies.

 

As Power BI is designed to work with a Star Shema, and thus designed to pass filters from Dimension to Fact (1:*)

I think it would be better if the new Properties pane highlighted this in its top to bottom layout.

 

It currently defaults to Fact to Dimension (*:1), with the Fact table listed at the top and the dimension table listed underneath, which I believe is counter intuitive given the flow of filters through the relationship actually goes the other way:

Default = Many to One

Fact : Dimension


I believe it would be easier for new-commers to Power BI to see the opposite layout in the Properties Pane, as this makes logical sense based on how filters propagate through the data model from dimension to fact.
