Slider date range from a report should not be static for the scorecard measure that links to it

Hello,

I am trying to make a scorecard in Power BI service that is linked to another report in Power BI service (same workspace). I have each metric linked to a measure the linked report. In that linked report, there is a date slicer that applies to each measure.

When I linked the measures, it locked them in for the date range present at that moment in the linked report's date slicer. I think that the scorecard should update automatically to whichever settings the [date] slicer has selected at that moment (i.e. if I change the slicer right now, within say 10 seconds, the linked metric updates to the parameters that I just changed the slicer to), and not locked into the settings at the specific moment that the measure is linked from the report to the scorecard metric.
