There are many opportunities to simplify the sign in process. To start with, although I am signed in and i can see so on the top right corner of the PowerBI App/Desktop, the App thinks I am not.
When I try to connect to various sources, I can either go through or not depending on how I choose to connect. The below example is for a SharePoint Online List.
Choose to ingest data via SharePoint Online List
The process is quite simple although it is asking me to select my account again and thinks that I am not logged in (although I am).
Manage to connect to teh List and get my data.
Choose to ingest data via connecting to the same list - connector now is Web
It will not allow mw to go through - I have opened a HelpDesk ticket.
I have ended in an infinite loop asking me to login. Selecting "Organisational Account" will prompt me to select my Account.
Clicking Next will come up with an error - invalid credentials (I am a member of the SPO List with view and edit rights)
