Power BI's visualizations have colors assigned automatically. It should be possible to set a color when a value is reached (e.g. always show negative bars in red) or for a particular color in a legend (e.g. always show Microsoft datapoints as blue)

Dynamic Conditional formatting is an important feature. Is it in roadmap of PowerBI?

This is such a fundamental need that Power BI still hasn't solved for. Would be great to justify values for color ranges especially when anything outside of a range should be red. Would like to be able to choose how far outside of a range determines specific colors similar to KPI's in Power Pivot.

I want to set coloring based on the value or range (conditional coloring). Unless I am missing something, this cannot be done in PBI. SSRS has lot of flexibility with its expressions support for most of the attributes. PBI is more static in nature and it applies to all attributes like Coloring, Font Weight, etc.

This should not be marked as completed. The request states to have colors "assigned automatically". Right now, the only color assignments are manual. There is no way to link the color to a calculated field. For instance, I would like to have a gauge appear red when below target and green when it is at or above it.

Wow - SSRS out performed Power Bi in so many ways, not to mention 3rd party apps.. This is a fundamental reporting/dashboarding concept.

This would be a very big value add. If this software expects to compete with Tableau, SAS, Looker, etc. more control of color formatting is needed.

Gauge conditional formatting and multiple target tiers would be greatly beneficial (i.e. minimum goal xx%, bonus goal yy%)
