Ad-hoc and quick calculations in the Power BI Service Reports (reading mode) would enable users to analyze the data even further without the need of exporting the data to excel or - even worse - downloading the report tp PBI desktop. The main competitor products (Qlik, Tableau, Burst) allow ad-hoc calcs/measures for end users without editing the report.
