Dragging a hierarchy into a report and change it to slicer... can we get a slicer with hierarchy (collapsible/expandable)?

Given the lack of support for the third-party Hierarchy slicer (e.g., doesn't work with sync slicers), can this feature just be added to the official slicer?

Look, MS, this is absolutely essential. We will not consider PBI within the enterprise BI strategy without such basic feature as Hierarchy slicer. Please address this soonest possible.

OK MS, is this on the roadmap or NOT? 4 years is along time to wait. If you aren't going to tackle it, please let everyone know.
The existing custom visual for this is now being flagged as obsolescent in PBI DT, so its end is close unless it gets overhauled by the supplier.

It would be nice to get an update on the status of this. Hierarchy slicer is basic functionality that we have in other Microsoft tools like Excel, Access, SSRS, PerformancePoint, etc. We would like a reliable hierarchy slicer that performs well that is out-of-the-box. Have run into issues with the custom visual with regards to reliability and performance. Thanks.

Any idea if and when this new feature will be released? I am happy with the 3rd party hierarchy slicer but it does not sync between pages. If this can be developed, I would be very thankful.

Nearly 4 years, on. Any updates on where this is going? Ragged/Natural Hierarchy handling has a lot of limitations in PBI, but a lot of applications in Org and Financial reporting.

Custom Hierarchy slicer is very slow, please create a fast native hierarchy slicer.
