The ability to provide specify the Data Colour for each item in the Legend field. E.g. a column from the data source in which to specify the colour e.g. #A66999 for each item in the Legend field.

This would apply to all the standard charts, e.g. bar, column, line chart, any of the charts with the Legend property.

Near the end of last year we upgrade visuals to use conditional formatting just like tables. This means you can take advantage of "By field" formatting to do exactly what this idea requested. Create a field in your model assigning colors, and then use the conditional formatting dialog for colors to format it. Here's the original announcement post. Do note that the UI has changed some in recent months, but the functionality is the same: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/blog/power-bi-desktop-november-2018-feature-summary/#conditionalFormatting

It would be extremely useful to be able to specify the following: "Use this hex color code in all the visuals for this particular value of this column". As far as I know you have to manually set the data color for each value of interest in each visual.... It's very frustrating ant time consuming.

This is a good idea, but needs to also support using Measures not just Columns. That would meet more sophisticated scenarios e.g. Colouring to follow a KPI vs Goal rule.

I would also like to see the ability to provide static start and end colours with a dynamic gradient (driven by a numeric column or measure value).

This is available in the Network Navigator visual. I can calculate colours dynamically using a measure to shade nodes in different colours for a compelling chart. It would be great to have it on other visuals too. Besides, this is a basic requirement since many organisations have colour themes.

Manual color updates are very important. Don't have to hover for tool tip values. Specially, for the dashboard view. One cant moves cursor on all the tiles rather can analysis data with just color patterns.
