A necessity for a BI solution is to be notified in time of need. Emails generated during reaching a configured threshold (from a card tile best example) would be an excellent add-on, Especially for IoT solutions.

We have enabled setting alerts on numeric tiles and receiving an email when the data goes beyond the threshold you set in the service. https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-service-set-data-alerts/ Give it a try and let us know if you have any feedback. Thanks, Fetiye
