Concur with the comments below. Power BI Premium is just too expensive for our small company. There must be a licensing product that will allow our end users to have the power of paginated reports if not only in Power BI Desktop. Our team and our clients are open to the $10/month per user but the nearly $5K per month is a show stopper.
It appears that us small guys need to find another option. Does anyone have a recommendation? Cognos or Tableau working out for anyone?

without this, it leaves us no option to move to power bi. power bi premium is too expensive for smaller businesses to justify. with power bi pro, we would still need an SSAS server (powerbi pro now support XMLA), plus SSRS server for paginated reports. It wouldn't make sense to have users having to go to 2 BI centres, plus then having to duplicated data models in multiple places. This leaves us in a difficult position where we cannot move to Power BI.

Cannot afford premium. Just wants to get paginated reports in PBI Pro
Without this we cannot use Power BI.

Why use Power BI for this? Excel works great at almost no cost. This needs to be on the Pro version please!!!

Report Builder 2.0, 3.0 for SSRS and Power BI Desktop have been staples of our firm reporting services for our clients. The cost of the Premium version of Power BI is prohibitive as we are a small firm. Adding the ability to have paginated reports in Power BI PRO would be extremely beneficial and prevent us from having to review other vendor options.

We are a small software consulting firm and we do create reports for our clients utilizing SSRS. Because of our small size, the monthly and annual costs are prohibitive and we simply cannot afford the cost as our annual report revenue generation would not pay for the annual cost.

For small to medium size companies, we cannot afford premium license as it is not worth it. So we need paginated reports for pro users.

Yeah, I also have to chime in here. Paginated reports only being available in Premium makes no sense whatsoever. Lots of businesses need the ability to create print-friendly reports and to pay for Premium just for that isn't really worth it. This should definitely be included in Pro.
Many reports (I'd argue the vast majority of reports that go to a granular level of detail) must be shared as a paginated report, there's no way you should need premium capacity just for this basic functionality.
PLEASE, move this to Pro as well!
