Totals in stacked column charts

During several presentations I get questions regarding the total of stacked columns. In the current situation you can select to label all the parts of the stacked column but no grand total. I would like to see the option to add a label to the Visuals which shows the total of the stacked column (this counts for values only). Ideally this total would deviate together with the drilldowns you select, so it stays interactive whatever filters you select or subsets you create on your dashboard.

Thanks for all the votes! Happy to report this was shipped in September: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-september-2020-feature-summary/#Total_labels_stacked

Sadly, this doesn't work if you want to show "Small Multiples." I'd consider that a bug, not a new feature. Any chance that could get fixed?

This can already be done by custom visuals like Drill Down Combo PRO, where you can have not only total stack values but also subtotals.

This just seems like such an obvious feature. What good is the stacked bar chart without a total?

BUMP! This is a complete must . The weird thing is that you can do this in a Matrix visual but not in a 100% stacked bar chart. They have the same data if you select "Row subtotal" so there are no real constraint to this.

Any update on this? I use the multi-row card as a work-around, but it's a pain.

RE: Totals in stacked column charts

Any update on this? Or being able to show percent and count in non-stacked bar charts?
