Currently only text boxes have more comprehensive (although still far too limited) options for formatting text. Visuals like the cards should have at least the same types of formatting options. Ideally all text components of any visual should have more than just font, font size and font colour.
Bold, Italic and Underline need to be added. Alignment would help in some places as well.
Because of this I often have to keep text box components very plain where they would need to sit alongside or be used on a report with cards because cards are so plainly formatted. It's a shortcoming that pushes me back to SSRS.
