You should be able to control the formatting of numbers in tiles on the dashboard and in reports. For example a tile that shows "0.1M" might be better with a more precise number like "123,456".

RE: Customize the formatting of numbers

One use case is on a bar chart, we summarizing sales. The sales range from $14,000 to $800,000 but the axis shows as millions we would rather show the axis as hundred thousands

RE: Customize the formatting of numbers

Hi Guys...
One more thing I noticed in power BI designer that it hangs after sometime and blocks other applications also.
Can you please let us know if you have faced any issues like this?

RE: Customize the formatting of numbers

definitely want to be able to control the formatting of numeric values. number of decimal places and commas, pretty basic, but not able to do in just the query. hopefully when the model is exposed this month...

RE: Customize the formatting of numbers

I agree. I need to be able to set the # of digits beyond the decimal point.

In the edit experience, I see 105.20 and in the dashboard experience, I'm seeing either:
105 OR (when I do a min value)
105.9877777 (when I do an average)

What I want in both places is 2 digits after the decimal point. I'm not seeing the exact number I want.
