There should be an option to enable custom tool tip for specific column of Matrix or Table.
Currently for given row same Tooltip is visible for all columns in matrix and table visualisation.
And block the view of the report.

Use Case:
To facilitate feature for table visual to accommodate report page tooltip should show for specific field which is present in table visual.
Benefits:
As per the current implementation , report page tooltip is available in table visual irrespective of specific fields. If Column specific tooltip is available then we can avoid this tooltip for unwanted columns which can enhance the effectiveness of this feature in table Visual.
Scenario:
if we make column_A as report page tooltip then on mouse hover in this field only relevant information will be available for rest of all columns it can be default tooltip of report page level tooltip based on Developers requirement.

+1 Definitely required as current solution for tables are completely hiding the tables columns !!

This would definitely be a useful feature. It is clear that tooltips are relevant for some columns and completely irrelevant for others. Thus, having one tooltip for an entire table is insufficient.

While tooltips are valuable for tables, the power of showing specific tooltips for a column brings makes them an intelligent tool. We really need column specific tooltips to help grow adoption of our end users.

Yes. The tooltip is useful but unusable in it's current form in a table/matrix. Would be really nice if we can specify exactly what columns the tooltip should apply to else it just starts showing up continuously as we are moving the cursor across the table and gets extremely annoying.

Yes, absolutely agree. I have tried to implement something like this on several reports and each time I remember that this is not supported. I would appreciate this functionality on the *Table* visual (not the Matrix). Some users seem to have found a way to do this (or something similar) with their specific data sets using the Matrix visual, however, the Matrix and the Table visuals are not equal and interchangeable and the solution of "just change it to a Matrix" is not helpful.
At any rate, I agree, adding the ability to limit the scope of a tooltip to a single (or multiple) columns (or rows?) would be incredibly useful, and is something that some users have requested dating back to at least 2018.
