Hi
When we use URL to run Paginated report and export to Excel/PDF, it first renders the report and then export. Even after export is complete, it keeps new window open. In other Reporting Tools like Cognos, it closes the window when run as Drill through from other reports.
I think, this will be a good feature to add an option in parameter like autoclose = true/false to allow window to close in such scenario.
