'@Achin while I admit that it serves a purpose (absolutely better than nothing), I believe the aforementioned visualization was added to Excel 2016. Is there no way to have a starting point, variances that build off that, and then the ending point as is customary with most, if not all, businesses?

We have tried to implement Customized waterfall chart using Stacked Column Chart. Yes it is not very intuitive . However, serves the purpose.
