It is SO annoying that every time I open PBI there is a pop up strip covering the most important part of the screen, letting me know there are auto-recovered files to view. Then when you hit the X to get rid of it, it asks you if you want to keep or remove these files. The default is 'No, remove the files'. I have NEVER chosen this, I ALWAYS manually change it to Yes, then click OK. No other way to get rid of the pesky strip.

Please:

Use a pop-up at the end when shutting down, like Excel, not just sitting there, taking up real estate, covering headings, until you get rid of it. Or put it in the bottom left corner, or somewhere, anywhere other than across the top.

and/or

Change the default to 'Yes'. I know we should perhaps all be clicking No, saving space, being good, but I am never in a position where I am sure I won't need what is there. I don't know anyone who doesn't change it to Yes. So you are annoying 99.95% of your customers on some kind of principle.
