Allow incremental refresh in Power BI dataflows using datekey as an integer similar to power bi datasets. Currently, dataflows require a datetime field to enable incremental refresh. We are planning to move some of the fact data which to dataflows to leverage reusability of dataflows. The fact tables have data key in integer format to align them with partitioning scheme of the back-end. But this limitation means we can't use the power of dataflows.
Generally speaking, datasets and dataflows should have all the basic features so switching from one to other isn't as painful.
