10/20/2022 - Just an update, this is an extremely expensive item, which is why it has not been picked up yet. I promise we will revisit this after we ship visual calculations

Still under review, why. Need to be able to collapse columns, e.g. multiple quarters in a year, but with current expanded only.

Why is this still under review? I think the work should have already commenced on this , given that this idea has generated 3000+ votes. Please make this happen.
This enhances the user experience considerably.

This would be very useful. This is one of the few features that Excel Pivot Table is still better than a Matrix.

I thought this was already implemented, so I scoured the internet on how to do it. But turns out it doesn't exist. Instead I have to do some disconnected slicer witchcraft to get around it.
Much like other users below, trying to showcase multiple measures (WTD MTD YTD) on a single page, and having the ability to collapse a whole bunch of them would be super super useful.
