Connecting to Excel workbooks in OneDrive is a great first step, but connectivity to Google Sheets should be there too.

I felt really bad when i came to know that power bi do not support Google analytics custom segments...it has become a hindrance in our business process and we were forced to choose Tableau...this question was raised in year 2015..i dont know why microsoft has not fixed it yet...looking foreward for this update...

Adding this to PowerQuery for Excel would greatly reduce the complications now faced when accessing GA from PowerQuery. There's a ten step process that involves registering the app with Google API, getting a key, turning that key into a token, and writing a lot of M. Having a connector would be amazing.

My refreshes are timing out because it's downloading the full dataset from GA when i'm just interested in 5% of it. Please add the ability to filter on load via the GA API.

I really need the use of Custom Segments to be able to filter my data. Power BI is basically useless to me without it. I have segments set for sections of my website and using the segment is the only way to get accurate user counts.

I need the following: custom date range, custom segments, regular expressions support for filtering, and preferably an option to define the metrics and dimensions I want to use.
If the connector does not support custom dimensions, custom metrics and custom calculated metrics, this connector will not meet the needs of Google Analytics Premium customers.
Since you are using the Reporting API for this, consider allowing additional arguments - and other GA APIs like real-time API and management API. I would like to create a full monitoring dashboard for multiple accounts in a web dashboard, but I cannot do this without proper support - or a fully manual customised API request. I would prefer this to be automated in a scheduled manner.

Please add the custom date range selection. Working with a large dataset is impossible otherwise.
