Connecting to Excel workbooks in OneDrive is a great first step, but connectivity to Google Sheets should be there too.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've split out the other cloud storage options into separate ideas for people to vote on.

RE: Connectivity to Google sheets

Have been trying to do it via an API URL. No luck.
Data import with the SEMRush API works without effort, why can't Google make it as simple?

RE: Connectivity to Google sheets

I would like to be able to see some statistics, like number of clicks, time spend, etc..., for published reports hosted on powerbi services. It would allow us to track significant information about the usage of the reports without depending on google analytics I think.
Thank you very much for reading the suggestions.

RE: Connectivity to Google sheets

Could it be posible to track the activity and the behavior of the users? Maybe with a link to Google analytics?

RE: Connectivity to Google sheets

Would be amazing if you could directly import seriaziled data from frameworks like Google Protobuf oder Apache Thrift.

Shannon, while I agree with your point, I do want to also suggest that many GA clients do pay for premium service, and in several of my applications I would be OK with stats that are +/- 30% from reality for real-time monitoring purposes.

Basically, answering questions like "is my website down" or "are we spiking volume, like double from normality" would be helpful with a power bi solution. Therefore expediency of data outweigh its accuracy in those cases. Power BI would be ideal because in my situation we have many websites to monitor, so a single google analytics realtime webpage will not be sufficient for monitoring purposes. We would leverage Power BI to pull realtime data from multiple web profiles and once and create rules to bubble up issues or instances out of the norm in real-time.

RE: Connectivity to Google sheets

Setting a date range for the data to be pulled is essential. Our entire dataset exceeds the 500,000 session limit making what would be an awesome Power BI integration, useless. Pleaseeeeeeeee add this feature.

as change the api from the chart, as google or another, and maybe point and click to change size, or position of the bubles.

Will Drewett: That does work, but not in a corp setting where you cannot publish to web URL...

There is another workaround that allows you to use a google script to export to excel automatically (saving it in yoru google drive), combined with having Google Drive app installed on your PC. But as I stated in my comment, there is an API that is being used by other areas of Microsoft (PowerApps) and would easily do this...

RE: Connectivity to Google sheets

Would be extremely helpful for clients that use Google Drive primarily. Glad it's under review!
