Connecting to Excel workbooks in OneDrive is a great first step, but connectivity to Google Sheets should be there too.

The API Google provides to PBI for free GA users returns inaccurate results for high volume sites due to the way it samples data. The free GA version claims to support up to 10M hits per domain, but we are experiencing issues on a domain with about 4M hits. Therefore, free GA users cannot get accurate feeds into PBI if their hits reach about 4M/month, and this cannot be solved by the Microsoft PBI team. Premium GA, on the other hand, has a significantly different (and much more accurate) API, for which PBI currently does not have a connector built. We would like to request PBI to develop a connector for the premium GA API, so that at least the premium GA users can get a properly working feed into PBI.

This would definitely be awesome. Currently working quite extensively with marketing data in Google Sheets, building some automation to land data there. Given the wealth of data automation which will be possible with Adobe SiteCat, Adwords, Double Click etc, marketers will be able to do viz in PowerBI if you can add this as a connector.
Effectively, PowerBI will be able to cater for all digital marketing! Now that is power!

Sampled data is making the GA connector pretty much worthless in our end-customer scenario. Google Data Studio works better in this regard, as does Tableau, so in order to get even on-par with them PBI needs to step up its game ;)

Currently the connector to Google Analytics API, but without the segments takes to long to filter. Also, it is not always accurate. I hope it gets reviewed soon!

The work-around (downloading to Excel) is okay...
Nevertheless, it would make much more sense if I could specify the URL of a Google sheet (under Get Data >> Web) ...and then (Power) Query from there =)
