NEVER calculate DAX until TICK is clicked

This is driving me crazy. If you accidently click ENTER while writing DAX code in the formula bar in Power BI, or if you click away from the bar (e.g. to quickly check the name of another field), PowerBI starts running the unfinished code. This is NOT what you want.

My idea:

NEVER start running DAX code in the formula bar UNTIL the TICK is clicked. Then it is up to the writer of the DAX to choose to when the code is finished and ready to run.

it is SO frustrating. YES, I should be able to stop myself from clicking ENTER, or clicking away, but why should I have to? The default should be that it NEVER runs until I choose to by actively clicking the TICK (it is also immensely satisfying to click that tick when the code is finally ready to test).
