Add clear or X for text string in search bar (field list or format options etc.) in Power BI Desktop and EVERYWHERE

The current situation in Power BI Desktop is that you have to delete the entered strings manually to enter something new.

So:
1. click in the search bar
2. delete individual letters (many clicks) or mark them
3. Press delete

These are sometimes 5-6 clicks until the new string can be entered ... with an X this can be done with one click!!

Please add this little function!

To clear entire text in one go is missing at many places. e.g. when we have filter with search functionality, we have to clear the entire text to see all options. We need this update asap.
