Similar to group policy registry keys that disable prompts for sign in, automatic updates and use of custom visuals, create group policy options to permanently disable the use of uncertified data connectors.
Really any feature that could potentially impact allow a single individual to jeopardize security in an enterprise setting shouldn't ship without the ability for IT to ship the software with those features disabled.
