It's done, nice, and of course is a good improvement, but not perfect, as it only clears the slicers (I know, is in the name) but it doesn't reset the user selections made in the visuals and you know a dashboard is usually full interactive (or even you can use a visual as a filter). I would like a button that reset every filter to set the page at the initial state. I'm afraid I still need to use bookmarks

Clearing all filters/slicers on all pages of a report seems like a really logical requirement. If we are going to get users to interact with the data, we need to know that they are not going to be confused or concerned there is an error when the "clear all" button clears slicers only on that page and if they look at another page, they aren't seeing the same dataset.

K

This would also be nice included in the filter pane.

The trouble with using bookmarks is:

  • If new slicers are added to the page, these are not added to the bookmark, so it's easy to get a partially working button
  • There's no way to review bookmarks to see what they affect, so it's hard to check if the bookmark is correct.

One detail here, there is a page I would use this on, but it also has a hidden *sync* slicer. Users would expect a "clear all selection" button to clear the page slicers, but leave the sync slicer alone.

The reset to default button in the web is very handy, functionality like that could be helpful in Desktop.

would be great

other software have this feature

come on get it done !

I used bookmarks to clear all slicers on a page, but if you use the SEARCH in a drop-down or list filter. You have to manually remove your entry in the search area.

Seems like an easy fix.

As a workaround, we train users to click on on the "Reset to default" option in the web service or mobile app. Since it's part of the interface, it also frees up some space & reduces clutter on the canvas.

Just started learning PowerBI and this seemed like the most obvious feature that was missing
