As companies continue to expand global capabilities, having the ability to see a data label on a map provides the users of the reports the ability to see the detail they may need. As another user pointed out, Tableau provides this capability already.

Considering the nature of the IV Power App, it appears to be more like an administrative tool for managing the settings/configurations and analysing the effects of those configuration changes. It can also be used to easily showcase the potential uses of the IV APIs.If the IV Power App comes with more detailed security roles by default, allowing us to easily restrict users from modifying crucial settings, it would be beneficial to have its functional pages accessible in other applications like D365 SCM. Alternatively, we could only expose specific functionalities such as Query On-Hand and Soft Reservation or other parts as separate pages. It's important to remember that the value of the solution lies in the IV APIs and services it exposes to the ecosystem, rather than solely using those in the IV Power App itself.

This is a significant ask so that we can wrap controls around this product in industries where separation of duties is required.

At the two food manufacturing projects which I've been involved in as a subject-matter expert / business analyst, we'd have used the job card device in more areas had this been an option available to us

Quick heads up

It's been a while, but I recently stumbled upon a very negative opinon online about microsoft.com and felt it necessary to reach out to disprove this nonsense.

It seems like there's some negative press that could be detrimental.
Knowing how easily stories can get out of hand and not wanting you to be caught off guard, I thought it best to warn you.

Here's where I found the info:

I'm hoping it's all a mix-up, but I believed it necessary you should know!

best of luck with all of this,

In the context of a food wholesaler picking ~10k order lines across ~1k orders in a night, we'd definitely require this - and it would be useful both (a) at point of pick for the operative to be able to substitute, (b) at wave processing in the event that there is no available stock to pick
