You are creating a review (document) describing the landscape of sales in Poland and you would like to add some dashboards into this as a visual. ofcourse, I can creat the screenshot and add it but the image will work better.

How can you close this when there is still NO export to PDF option ? File>Print is NOT a solution.

You need to realise that many government institutions will not adopt PowerBI until there is an export to PDF function.

Why ? Because PDF's are required for senior managment. People only want to export a dashboard or report, NOT the entire contents of the page.

Our senior leadership inquired about this feature today. Export to PowerPoint is in PowerView, and while it's not an ideal solution it was something and they got use to it. Please add similar and improved functionality to PowerBI, specifically export to PDF.

Please provide the feature of downloading and saving a report & dashboard as a PDF or an excel. This is the most basic feature for any reporting tool. This is missing in Power BI.

Hi guys

Great tool and great visuals. Our senior leadership love their dashboards but they meet weekly in various rooms that don't have access to big screens and need both printed version (yes, old school) or pdf versions that they can view offline.

Currently you have to publish the desktop reports to the PowerBI site and then have to print to pdf - and only 1 page at a time in very poor rendering quality.

Being able to save/export the entire report (all sheets/tabs) from Power BI Desktop would be great.

I do not have the ability to save as PDF either. Can someone explain how?

I am not exactly sure why this is marked as completed. I am running the March 2016 rev and have tried copying and pasting a dash into PowerPoint with no success. I have also tried looking for image or file export options other than pbix, and cannot find it. What am I missing?

I test it but I wont use it until it supports export to pdf, excel, doc...
