You can pin live report pages to dashboard if you want this functionality, or use a report instead.

This is indeed of great importance. Can the team update about this feature on priority? What is the point of having dashboards if all we have to do is open reports and use the features

I thought this feature was working, but now it is not. I cannot drill down on the published version of reports, but can in the application on line and the desktop. I agree with others, not point in having it if you cant use it on dashboards and published reports. High priority.

Very much needed!!
Else, there is no use of providing the drill down feature in Reports in the 1st place, if it won't work on a dashboard.

This suggestion was first brought up August 28, 2015, 1st and only ADMIN response was May 12, 2016. Can we get a date when this will be done or at least an understanding of why it's not there? Drill down is basic and needed by every Power BI user.
