Drill down on axis in dashboard without having to enter into the report itself

You can pin live report pages to dashboard if you want this functionality, or use a report instead.

RE: Drill Down in Dashboard

Hello,

Is anyone working on this still. I need to have drill down capability within the dashboard itself and not have to switch over to report to display drill downs. This makes displays and titles at the dashboard level tricky, because if I say "Top Customers" and the dashboard only displays "top States" in the Matrix with no ability to drill down, it doesn't make much sense to a dashboard only viewer if they really want to see details.

RE: Drill Down in Dashboard

Hello,

is there any update on this? are we going to have this feature anytime soon? I have pinned each tab of my file to a live dashboard.

RE: Drill Down in Dashboard

WOW!

Just wow man...

I was complaining on alot of threads this afternoon about mobile UX on Android and now discover BI cloud is as broken on dashboards, sighs :(

Just follow my lead Microsoft and work on this:
Android Mobile:
-Dashboards:
-ability to disable auto focus mode on tiles in the mobile dashboard (no need to zoom
for gauge, KPI, etc.).
-no filters work.
-no drilldowns work.
-no graph interconnection for filtering works i.e. clicking one part of graph updates the
rest.
-filter choices from chiclet or filter should pass on in dashboard or atleast to items
pinned from the same report
-filter choices from chiclet or filter should pass globally across the reports.
-ability to deactivate jump to report page actions on click, just add paramaters like in
SSRS.
-Reports:
-Drilldown needs too many steps; expand to focusmode -> press explore -> select one
level down. Add auto buttons above headers like in cloud and iframe versions.
-Drilldown doesn't remember what piece of a piechart you wanted to drill down on and
defaults to USA with this explore function (of France, Germany etc.)

BI cloud:
-Dashboards:
-Remember "Drill mode" active state of a graph (on or off) to pass on to iframe and
mobile versions.
-ability to deactivate jump to report page actions on click, just add paramaters like in
SSRS.

RE: Drill Down in Dashboard

Is this ever going to be completed given it was listed as under review in 2016? Currently this is one of the main features that is stopping us transferring all reporting to Power Bi from our current BI provider.

RE: Drill Down in Dashboard

This should be prioritized to a higher number, it only makes sense that if you build a report to drill down that if you wanted to publish it, or pin it to a "dashboard" that it would have the same functionality. We would have like to just share a dashboard instead creating content packs all the time but cannot because this function is missing from report. This has been a suggestion for a LONG time, please review it and make it happen...
