The ability to configure a slicer to only be able to select one attribute at a time - similar to a radio button. I would like to disable the ability for people to either choose select all or choose multiple slicers.

Hi everyone! The slicer now supports a radio button mode too, with real single-select behaviour. You'll see updated options in the property pane that let you control this. Thanks for your patience and feedback!

RE: single selection slicer
Just venting slightly here, but why did MS go through the trouble of including a "Select All" option and "Single Select" option in the first place, when they don't even do what just about everyone here is needing them to do... It's like Power BI is just a dog and pony to claim they're competitive with Tableau.
RE: single selection slicer
This is very important functionalty. please make your attantion to do this development as well.
RE: single selection slicer
How many votes does it take for the product developers to work on this ?? I can't believe this simple functionality is that hard to pay attention to... I really need this !!
What is the purpose for the single selection if the user is going to be able to unselect all and get the "select all" behavior? just return blank when nothing is selected... that simple...
RE: single selection slicer
It is unthinkable that this feature is not available yet. And after almost 3 years from the first request
RE: single selection slicer
Tableau Public can do this. If Microsoft wants to stay in this business it needs to keep up with the competition.
RE: single selection slicer
Flagged this idea as inappropriate to hopefully remind developers that we are still waiting for this functionality!!!!
RE: single selection slicer
It would be a very useful feature
RE: single selection slicer
Wow >1000 votes, nearly 3 years old and no response????
RE: single selection slicer
Single select slicers are pointless if unticking the selected one defaults to 'select all'. This is such a simple concept.
RE: single selection slicer
Please speed up this request, it is very urgent to develope this kind of filter!!!
