There should be a slicer that has the search options for numbers. The available slicer give search options for text only not for numbers.

RE: Slicer for number search
I'm currently being blocked because of the lack of this feature.I consume a data cube where there are whole number fields for "Customer ID" and "Partner ID". I can't change these fields from whole numbers to text, and just because of that, the users of my report can't search for one specific Customer ID and Partner ID, when using the slicer filter on my report. My users already reported to me that they want to search for one specific Customer ID, but I can't do that with the slicer filter!!! And we have 100,000s of customer IDs on our data cube!!! We definitely need to have search implemented for whole numbers!!

Please add this feature.

Hey Microsoft please add this feature.
RE: Slicer for number search
This really needs to be addressed. Converting all of our numeric indexes to text in our report data models so we can search on them is not a good design. We need a way for a report user to be able to easily filter the data on a numeric ID. These are numeric values, but they are used like text. This is a very common use case. Please add this feature as soon as possible.
RE: Slicer for number search
Slicer should be searchable regardless of data type. Dates, number, text are the most important.
RE: Slicer for number search
Adding the ability to search in numeric slicers is super important. As an example I want to be able to search by ClientID or StudentID, instead of having to convert it to a text field which adds an extra data element.

2021 and still unresolved??!
This is not hard to implement.. also, number search is a basic feature for any program that works with data.

Hi, all!
Only 54 (55 with mine) votes ??! This is A MUST, basics...and only 54 users need this...
Does it mean that everybody else change the Data type to Text or duplicates the numeric column ?
Bizarre...
