  1. Conditional formatting on Gauge.

I use the arc gauges to measure percentage of on time delivery. when the rate goes under 90% I have to change them all to red manually. It would be great if conditional formatting extended to this visual as well so it can change from green to red automatically

    • Better integrate SSDT BI in the development process

Having the features on the servers is fantastic, however it seems the SSDT BI team is working in a different company. Please align better with them, especially the release cycles. Where is their user voice forum ? Where is their roadmap ? BI must be considered as a consolidated effort among the MSFT products.
It starts with the developer tools and ends with the visualization on the screen.

                • Add a client side HTML5 renderer for SSRS

Please make a significant investment in SSRS by adding a client side rendering engine that [1] does not require a postback to be performed every time an action is clicked [2] renders better charts more responsively on the client side [3] is generally interactive, and competitive and is [4] as full featured as SSRS currently is (PowerView is not currently as full featured as SSRS).

SSRS dynamic tablix column width for a report.

We should be able to control columns width in SSRS tablix in order to get a better display on the report. Here is a link that talk about this feature request: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/9e6043f1-c458-4540-be59-d37b02feab8a/dynamic-column-width-for-a-report?forum=sqlreportingservices

                      • Syncchronization

Please add new feature like syncronization between Reports which developed in Power BI Desktop and SSRS.
So that who develop report through Power Bi Dektop can be available for SSRS (.RDL) file and vice versa.

                        (Power BI Desktop/Services <- = -> SSRS development/SSRS report server)

                          • SSMS 17 Bug: Can't copy from dialog popups: Unsaved documents cannot be cut or copied to the clipboard from the Miscellaneous Files project

There's a bug in the current 'separate installer' version of SSMS (2016 onwards)

It doesn't allow copy pasting from some dialog popups. Noticed it in the find & search/replace dialog.

I use this feature extensively to refactor code/deploy from template files

Never seen any other windows app that doesn't allow copying/cutting from a textbox

                            repro:
Bring up the search replace dialog (ctrl+h)
type some random text into the "Find what" text box
                            highight it (ctrl+a)
                            cut it (ctrl+x)

result: error message - Unsaved documents cannot be cut or copied to the clipboard from the Miscellaneous Files project. You must save…

                            • Power Query: stop adding "Change Type" steps automatically

Please prevent Power Query from automatically adding "Change Type" steps after loading data from table or splitting a column. Many times it considers the whole column as numeric even when you have text in some cells. I get errors because of this all the time and have to keep removing these automatically added steps.

                                    • STOP! Before throwing more random features into SQL BI, lay out strategic guidance

Reporting Services, Analysis Services, PowerPivot, PowerView, PerformancePoint, Report Builder, Excel Services, Analytic Charts, Datazen... Microsoft's BI toolkit is a mess. Anyone who's starting out fresh could go insane trying to figure out what to use when. Add in Microsoft's tendency to randomly abandon technology and something packaged and stable like Microstrategy or Tableau starts to look like it's worth the money.

You folks need to put your pencils down, step back, take a deep breath, and FIGURE OUT WHAT THE HECK YOU'RE DOING. Lay out an architecture, roles, and roadmap that can be published for all of us so we…

                                      • Exporting existing SP13 Power View Dashboard into Power BI Desktop

At least, capacity to import *.RDLX files to Power BI and avoid recreate them all!
