Currently, the Fabric Data Factory Invoke Pipeline task uses the user's credentials who saved the pipeline to then authenticate to the Azure Data Factory to execute the ADF pipeline. When that user's password is modified, the token expires and the Fabric Data Factory pipeline must be modified and saved for the Invoke Pipeline tasks to begin working again. I would like to suggest that there be an option in the Invoke Pipeline Task to use the Fabric Workspace Identity, or specify a Service Principal for authentication to ADF. Without this change, production Data Factory Pipelines will fail to execute after the owner changes their password.

I would like a feature that allows headers and footers to be fixed on standard report screens. With this feature, even when scrolling through a report on the mobile app, the header and footer information would always remain visible.

Please take measures to prevent library inconsistencies from occurring due to automatic updates when the version of a dependent library is changed. For example, an upgrade to the marshmallow library 4.0.0 used internally by azure-ai-ml was released and automatically updated. As a result, a process that had been running in the morning could no longer be executed in the afternoon due to an inconsistency with azure-ai-ml.

The current card visual forces users to overlap elements or waste copious amounts of time creating custom visuals. The new card feature should give users the ability to create multiple cards in a single container and provide a greater level of customization.

It would be beneficial to incorporate features from Pivot tables that allow for the expansion and collapse of columns and hierarchical column groups within tabular visuals. This would not only solve the current limitations of matrices but also provide report creators with the flexibility to hide and show rows and columns, saving these settings for future use, thus eliminating the need to scroll through irrelevant data.

It would be helpful to expand and collapse folders in the workspace to quickly view their contents without needing to open each one and navigate back and forth. This would make browsing workspace items much more efficient.

Enabling customized calculations at the query level for subtotals and grand totals would offer greater flexibility in reporting and preserve performance. Efficient organization of control settings to modify the style of these totals separately will empower report creators to achieve their desired appearance, while addressing their need for more control and customization in reporting.

It is currently possible to embed visuals from a Power BI report in PowerPoint. We would like to have the same capability for Scorecards. The KPIs tracked by our VPs and directors are presented in PowerPoint. We would like to centralise these KPIs using the Scorecards tool offered directly, but it is currently not possible to embed goals from the Scorecard in PowerPoint, which makes the adoption of the Scorecard tool slower and more difficult. Please add the ability to embed goals from Scorecards into PowerPoint, similar to how report visuals can be embedded.

The current standard gateway performance metrics (CPU, RAM) provide a general overview, but they do not identify which specific user or report is causing high load on the gateway. It would be helpful to have more detailed information for diagnosing and optimizing the gateway.

Currently when a user clicks 'New Item' button in a workspace they see 30+ Fabric items that they can create. From a usability perspective, business analysts for example who only have been working solely in Power BI and will not use additional Fabric workloads would prefer to see only Power BI relevant items in the list of all the items they can create in their workspace. Can the admins of a workspace be given the ability to control which new items are available to the workspace users to create? This could be applied for different teams, where a Data Warehousing team admin as another example can control items that can be created in a workspace by the developers, like data pipeline, lakehouse, warehouse, etc. If a data science team decides to collaborate in the same workspace, the workspace admin can then add additional items like ML Model and Experiment that are allowed to be created in the workspace. By default the workspace can show all the items, when a new workspace is created. But the ability to control the items available for creation in a workspace will provide flexibility and choice to offer better user experience to the developers of that workspace with specific skills or personas. Fabric is constantly adding items for different workloads, and some users might appreciate a more controlled experience in their workspace created for a specific purpose, compared to seeing the growing list of items that they do not intend to use.

Hello Community, We are encountering an issue with the slicer when using a hierarchy containing multiple columns. When a parent item (e.g., Country 1) is selected, all of its child items are automatically selected by default. However, to view data corresponding only to the parent item, we have to manually deselect the child items. Is there a way to change this behavior? If not, we would like to request that Microsoft consider adding this as a feature in a future update.

SET QUERY_GOVERNOR_COST_LIMIT feature is available in Fabric SQL Endpoint. However, the official documentation states that Fabric SQL Endpoint is not supported in the products that support this feature. When refreshing a Dataflow Gen2 via Data Pipeline or API, make it possible to select which table(s) to refresh.
Such an option will provide great flexibility.
Some tables need to be refreshed more often than others.
And sometimes we wish to cherry-pick a single table to refresh only that table.

When we include the page navigation buttons, we have, in the settings, the option to choose which pages should be shown. But when we include the bookmark navigation buttons, we don't have this option. When we need to create different bookmarks, for different pages of the same report it proves to be a complication, and we are forced to create the buttons individually, using shapes.

The primary axis are outdated and require significant improvement when compared to Excel. This makes it difficult for report creators and often leads to problems when trying to manage and style them effectively. By offering more format settings, greater control over displayed data can be provided, especially if axis ticks, new gridlines, and separators are also included.

This simple feature is extremely usable by users who consume reports on a daily basis, but those who develop it NEED to typify the data as TEXT to enable it. It would be very useful to be able to enable it on slicers that use numeric fields as well.
