The Sept 2017 release of Power BI Desktop supports Drillthrough to other reports using the right mouse click. This functionality should be supported in the mobile apps, otherwise when selecting a Drillthough report in the mobile app there is no selected context.181 votes
It's very strange why Power BI Mobile app for Windows doesn't support Power BI Report Server. Android and iOS apps have this feature.
So now Windows phone and tablet users can't access PBIRS via the app, which is the most convenient way of using the reports.
Please consider adding this in the nearest future.8 votes
There are at leat 3 important festures that fires with ctrl+click gesture: on slicers, on a single visual or, the most recent, on multiple visuals. The problem is that on mobile device we can not use ctrl+click gesture.
I suggest to add a mobile app “multiple select” toggle option that switch between the single and multiple selection navigating a report.11 votes
The multi cross filter is finally released on Feb 2018 update but limited to PC only (using ctrl + click to interact).
- Show menu when user long-press on data points
- Use radial menu. Put tooltip, multi-cross filter selection and other commands (possibly drill-through?) in it
- Allow ad-hoc pinch and zoom. This will make it easier to select (touch) small-sized features. Focus mode and cross filter don't mix well7 votes
It would be great if we could embed the mobile optimized version of the reports that we see in the PowerBI mobile application in a custom mobile application. Currently my company is having to create a separate report that has a mobile layout and then embed that version into a custom mobile application.26 votes
stay tuned to Power BI Embedded announcements. we have being doing some work with them to enable that capability.
It's great that we currently have Azure AD B2B available for Power BI. However it is not possible to give external guest users access to Power BI reports / dashboards in the mobile application.
This needs to happen before we are able to really use AAD B2B, unfortunately for now we are still stuck creating local AAD users for the external guest users.16 votes
It should be able to use a separate picture or disable background image on mobileview versus desktop view. By now, the background image feature is pretty useless in mobile view. And therefore I can't use it in desktop view.3 votes
drill into next level with a 2 sec touch or forcetouch.
or Drillthrough if defined for the control.
(it's not so sexy to make a drilldown today on a mobile
- double click for control focus
- select bar
- click "Show next level"
- click Back button)4 votes
Word wrap in tables is working great in Power BI Desktop, but when publishing it, I can only view the first line in Power BI Mobile and Power BI web :/
Please update this critical feature all over you Power BI line.8 votes
Our Power BI users often travel to areas with bad internet connections to visit clients. The bookmarks feature would be the perfect solution for them if it was available in the mobile app and could cache the data and visuals when bookmarked.21 votes
To be able to export Excel data from tables and visualisations on an iPad. You are able to do this from a desktop web browser, but not from the mobile app. We push reports to over 200 users that access Power Bi on an iPad - this feature will be most helpful.5 votes
How can I locate data on:
How many employees that have downloaded the Power BI app using company login details (e.g. company email extention) ?
Would like to see an unlimited height in the mobile view so we can fit all of our visualizations. Right now your limited in the number of rows available for adding visualizations.23 votes
on the mobile app, selecting a filter start by selecting the object, thuser has to select a second time to activate the content of the filter.
like opening a dropdown list.
this behavior should be the default behavior on the mobile app.
99% of the users want to filter and not select the object.3 votes
Using the mobile solution is brilliant, however forcing users to click every single visual to get the title is a huge design flaw that should be fixed asap.21 votes
When viewing the SharePoint pages with the Power BI web part on them, they don't look very responsive (very small writing, scrolling). Other modern pages look very nice on mobile, as does the Power BI mobile app itself1 vote
You can change the way a measure is calculated in the desktop application. It would be great to have this in the web app too.1 vote
Top and bottom titles obstruct filters and hide some reports, especially on mobile devices. Pl allow full screen view.1 vote
It would be great if the Phone layout did not inherit the "visible" property from the desktop layout.
This would allow the designer to make visualisations specific to the phone layout, make this visible = false for the desktop layout but visible = true for the phone layout.
Thus allowing for the design of phone specific visualisations.
As it stands if I make a visualisation hidden in the desktop layout, while I can drag that visualisation into the Phone layout, it appears as hidden and not visisble.9 votes
Push Notifications to all users subscribed to the report indicate the Data set has been refreshed and the report has new data. (This is especially useful for use cases where you don't have streaming Data)
Also scheduled push notification reminding a set off users to see the report.
This can completely re3 votes
