  1. New Matrix Visual (March, 2017 Release) Total Row

    The new matrix visual, currently in preview, does not seem to display the total row. I've tried turning it on and off through the "Subtotal" option in the formatting controls, but cannot get it to display. The previous matrix visual seems to be working fine.

  2. provide easier option to sum the measure column total based on row context, column values or custom user input.

    measure in table matrix calculates correctly at the row level, but not as expected at the total level (treats the total level as a row). Instead of having to rewrite the measure, the user should have the option to allow the total to calculate at the row level, or calculate as the sum of the values in the measure column, or as defined otherwise by the user.

  3. Column top totals

    Option for Grand Totals at Top of Columns

    Please add the option to display the Grand Totals at: 1. The Top of the columns, 2. The bottom of the columns, 3. Both top and bottom.

    There are times the report matrix is too long to see the Grand Totals. Instead of scrolling down to the bottom, it would be very helpful to be able to have the Grand Totals at the top of the column.

    (This feature would also be great to have in Excel Tables and Pivot Tables)

  7. Column profiling stats should be based on total rows and not just the first 1000 in the Power Query Editor

    Column profiling stats should be based on total rows and not just the first 1000 in the Power Query Editor, in case if the column has sorted data, the stats are completely unreliable.

    Also, the status bar should display total row count and not 999+

  8. multiple totals

    Can we have multiple totals calculated and display at the bottom of my table/matrix. For example, we have a grand total, then comparable total, etc.. This is very much needed.

  9. MATRIX GRAND TOTAL, SUBTOTALS can't select SUM,COUNT,AVERAGE...ETC

    Actually grand total and subtotals only summarizes according to the function of the displayed value, but it is necessary sometimes, summarize: sum,average,count... at the same matrix, for example it is not easy if the value displayed only is sum . There are way to achieve this, but it is not as simple as if you could choose in the subtotal properties of the matrix if I want to see sum,average,count or another

  10. On matrix table possibility to choose which rows / columns are visible

    Option to choose which value columns / rows are displayed in detail and in total row/column section.

    For example columns are product colors and rows are SKUs. Values are for sold pieces and gross margin. I would like to see only sold pieces on detail columns/rows and in total column total gross margin and total sold pieces.

  11. customizing the word total

    I would love to be able to change the word 'Total' to anything such as Grand Total, YTD Total, or to remove the word completely but still retain the numerical values.

  13. Power Query - Add Dynamic Row Count

    Add Row Count as part of the PROPERTIES in the QUERY SETTINGS pane of Power Query.

    Below Name and table; add a Label "Row Count"
    Below the label add a text box containing the total row count value for that table.

    As the user steps through the APPLIED STEPS; recalculate and display the row count - on steps that affect the row count.

Also, changing font to bold, alignment ( left/right), ability to change the "Total" text which appears in the left bottom of cross tab etc. options should be considered.

  15. row heading vertical alignment

    Sometimes we want the row heading to be at the bottom of the row, whereas currently it is forced to the top. There should be an option of vertical alignment - top, middle, bottom.

    Where the bottom option is chosen there should be the option of removing the word "Total" and just having the row heading on the subtotal line.

    For accounting Profit & Loss statements this is very important because currently the total Profit number is displayed at the bottom of the page but the corresponding row heading is in the top left hand corner…

  16. Multiply Measure by % of Total?

    Can I multiply each line item of a ‘Percent of Grand Total’ (all items total up to 100%) by a calculated measure (delta to goal) to get an ‘Impact’ to goal?

  17. Excel table with the total line

    Hello,
    If an Excel table has a total row, this table will be imported with the total row in Power BI as an ordinary row.
    Adding this row will cause mistakes in the PBI report and I suppose that the majority of users don't need it in their models.
    I suggest to ignore this row when we import an Excel table in Power BI and Power Query.

  18. Anchor Matrix Totals so they don't move

    When the number of rows in a matrix reduces due to filtering, drill-up, the total row moves up and then back down as the number of rows increase again. I would like to be able to anchor the total row to the bottom of the matrix so that it doesn't move. Reason for this ? It is dizzying for a user to see things move up/down/sideways, and even though we can turn off auto-size of column headers, we cannot control movement of the totals row.

  19. Sorting on Columns in matrix percent of row total or original values

    When making a matrix visual in desktop based on a whole number and convert these values to % (percent) of row total I cant sort the individual colmuns anymore (Excel has the same issue). Id like to sort the individual columns based on the percentage from high to low and the other way around. Also on the original values you can't sort on the column values in the matrix

  20. Total incorrect when Count distict in a matrix.

    Total incorrect when Count distict in a matrix.

    I have 2 rows in a sheet with the same value. When doing a count the total in the matrix shows 61 items. When doing a count distict it shows 59, even though the column and row totals show 60.
