Enable Incremental Refresh for Power BI Pro users, not just Premium.4,220 votes
Thanks for all the feedback on this! We are definitely planning on adding Incremental refresh to Pro. Do know though that it is a fair amount of work, so it may be a bit before we can give you a more firm timeline.
In the meantime, keep voting so you’re notified when we do have more information to share!
Power BI direct connector to ADLS2 (Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2) thus Power BI directly connect to ADLS2 for reporting and Firewall slider
currently Power BI does not have direct connection to ADLS2 and requires Power BI Dataflow to access the ADLS2 data which causing data redundancy and creating extra hop for the same data and can be directly consume form ADLS2. Power BI direct connection with ADLS2 is great addition for Advance Data Analytics and firewall slider Power BI which enable exclusive access Power BI similar to AAS (Azure Analysis Service) .94 votes
We plan to add an ADLS Gen2 connector to Power BI later this year. Stay tuned!
In SAP HANA 2.0, Database Views reside in so-called HDI-Containers. Power BI Desktop (PBIRS) shows empty Containers (database schemes) but not the Calculation VIews inside.
The old Calculation VIews from HANA 1.0 are visible.
So please extend the connector for SAP HANA (relational mode) to select the new Calculation Views from the HANA data dictionary as well as the old ones.79 votes
We plan to enhance the SAP HANA connector to include views within HDI Containers, later this year. Stay tuned!
Now that Power BI has the Analyse in Excel function, can you please make Excel Online (Excel in a browser) connect to the Power BI data source so slicers and timelines function and the workbook can refresh from the Power BI data source?112 votes
Support to bring in SAP HANA hierarchies in by default similar to our SSAS hierarchy support.43 votes
Thanks for the feedback – This is one of the planned enhancements to the SAP HANA connector for the rest of CY17. Please stay tuned for further updates.
At this point, only Excel workbooks with a power pivot data model can work in Power BI. It would be great to have the ability to upload Excel workbooks that are connected to our on-prem analysis services to be refreshable as well. The same way that the analysis services connector works for PowerBI reports, perhaps that connector can be extended to uploaded Excel workbooks as well.188 votes
Could we change double format to percent style in table and other chart? such as 0.12 to 12% ?78 votes
Hi – we’re going to add more formatting options, but for now if you set the formatting of the field on the Modelling tab, it should be reflected in the report visuals

Connect to AX Dynamics20 votes
We’re starting the planning for this work and will provide updates as we identify a timeline for delivering support for the different components of Dynamics AX.
A way to update datasets (so reports we can add new calculated fields, etc.). If that was fixed, I think my team could begin adopting54 votes
Hi there! We’re working on this right now! You’ll see it in a future release!
I imagine this is going to be included within the ability to edit connections, but I would like the ability to edit an existing query or add a new one from within Power BI. Another option would be to overwrite an existing spreadsheet with one including the new queries, though conflicts might get messy.87 votes
Hi Ollie! Thanks for the suggestion. We’re already working on improvements to the management of existing connections and data sets in the service. Stay tuned for updates!
It appears that the Designer Preview always imports data. Please give a choice between caching and direct queries.62 votes
We’re planning to add the ability to connect ‘live’ to SSAS models in the near future. Thanks for your suggestion – other people can still add their votes and help us prioritize it!
I'd like to remove a data source connection for a SSAS cube that has been moved to a different server, but I don't see a way to do this. Am I just missing something? If not, I see the data source list quickly filling up with connections that are no longer working. It's also difficult for my customers to determine which connection they should actually use.31 votes
Hi Justin .We’re definitely planning to allow this soon! Stay tuned and you should see it appear in the coming weeks!
Hi Pedro. You can already connect to HDInsight from the Power BI Designer, and we’re planning to support refreshing from there in the service soon!
One of the best sources we should just have out of the box is access to financial data like stock quotes.11 votes
You’re right, Ken – the web is a really great source of data. You can do this from the Designer app today – you’ll find from Web page as a data source there. We are also planning to add this to our site soon!
Can I add a bing news feed?19 votes
Thanks for the suggestion Pete. This is already in our plan, but please keep adding votes if you want to see it prioritized even higher.
I don't have ownership of some excel documents so can't link them from OneDrive. I can only upload a static copy.
Please let me link to one in a team site.6 votes
We are planning on doing this feature soon! We will update again as we get closer to adding it to the product.
