Disable/hide visual borders when hovered over, atleast in full screen mode. It makes the UI look pretty untidy.451 votes
Back in July, we shipped a completely new visual header that lets you disable per visual some or all the various options and doesn’t take up space on the page. You can read the details on our blog: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-july-2018-feature-summary/#visualHeader
The "Publish to web" setting for portal administrators currently has the options of 'Enabled' or 'Disabled'. It would be beneficial to have this manageable in the same way as content packs so certain security (AAD) groups could be set as publishers.134 votes
Great news (and sorry for the late update). We added granular admin controls for Publish to web, so you can choose which of your users can create or are excluded from creating Publish to web embed codes. Just go to the Power BI Admin portal, expand Tenant Settings, expand Publish to web and you’ll see the options. Here’s the documentation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-admin-portal#tenant-settings
I would like to be able to change the UI's theme like we're able to change the Office color theme. From which PBI is currently toned basically in black and dark gray, I would like to be able to select from other colors as well such as white toned. This is because I am basically used to seeing other Office products for years, which is based in white and light grey.

Power BI is a quick on the Go tool. But some companies still do not trust the "in the Cloud" concept. Is their a way that you can host Power BI completely on a companies internal env.? With onsite Hosting server on premises?15 votes
Check out Power BI Report Server: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/report-server/. You can create reports in Power BI Desktop, publish them to Power BI Report Server on-premises, and then view and interact with published reports in Power BI Mobile or in your web browser.
Global admin ist responsible for adding new domains, check the AAD reports, managing sync, delegate other roles, and so on.
So we don't want to have other workload admins as global admins.

we have added an admin portal accessible to all members of the Global Admin group.7 votes
We have recently introduced a Power BI admin role that is separate from global admin role. You no longer need to be a global admin to administrate Power BI, and Global Admins can assign this role to someone else within the company using a PowerShell command. We are also working on a UI for this that will be available by the end of the year.
