auto refresh: Power BI designer
allow data refresh from Power BI's datasets that were imported from Power BI designer files
within Power BI designer, implement ability to auto/schedule refresh of the Power Query data sources
We use Power BI Report Server (on-premise). Reports that are built on Excel (querying data from SharePoint Online (PWA, Forms, etc) do not auto refresh using the scheduled refresh service. It would be great is the data connections stored in the pbix and published to the Report Server would be used to refresh the data.

We need to be able to refresh from the Desktop App every x minutes, even as low as every 2 minutes. Even with a Premium node, you can only update 48 times a day. We NEED this.

This should be an option on the page level formatting options in my opinion and should be available in both Web and Desktop versions of Power BI. Currently my work around I use is a custom visual called " play axis" that has an auto start and loop feature that cycles through a set of numbers to create a refresh every so many seconds.
Any news on this ideas ? The #2 for Pbi Desktop scenario why auto-refreshing every N minutes is the good one.
Here is the scenario I hope you find a solution for:
I have a .pbix file on OneDrive. The source files of that .pbix file are all .csv files stored on OneDrive. Suppose I upload this .pbix file to PowerBI.com and create a report / dashboard. Great. Now suppose I update the .csv source file connected to the .pbix file. I want both the .pbix and powerbi.com files to update when I click 'Refresh' on PowerBI.com
Along the same lines as #2. I would like to be able to disable automatic updates of data in various sources using Power Bi Designer. I have a scenario where I'm connecting data from an Excel-file on a website, Another Excel-file on SharePoint online, and one cloud service using OData.
Working in this setup is very time consuming as even small changes to the data set triggers a call to the various data sources. I would therefore like to be able to cache the data on my local machine and thereby speed things up

Do we have a date that Item #1 will be available? At the moment I cannot afford to pin any tiles to my dashboard because if I would have to re-do the tiles every time as I need to manually upload the same designer file every time...
Currently using Power Designer as ETL to load data from excel etc. saved in PC. To have schedule refresh ability in Designer will be great.

On Scenario 2: If the Designer file is uploaded, then the Auto Refresh scheduled in file should work in the same way in Power BI site

just to comment on scenario 2: We use in our office a number of mounted displays on the walls - it would be great, if they could display automatically refreshed dashboards via the PowerBI designer software.
