query folding enable/disable option
An option to enable/disable query folding.
The main pain point for me, is that whenever I edit my native query, the PowerBI query editor will silently add the EnableFolding=True option to the query.
The report will then successfully refresh in PowerBI desktop, but fail in the PowerBI service. I know it is easy to remove the EnableFolding from an individual query, but it is frustrating having to do this all the time, on lots of different tables. A global option to stop adding the EnableFolding option would help

Just in an attempt to help the team resolve this issue, was query folding working on Postres before a recent update and it stopped working, or has it never worked? Just wondering if that datasource should be considered exempt from query folding or if they just need to correct something about how it works.
I have the same issue, I don't use native queries, so it's completely pointless as a functionality. The old postgres connector was much better. I have thread where I commented this issue in detail.

I'm a Postgres user and my work is totally blocked by this change.
All my reports are breaking.
Request you to please provide an option to disable/enable query folding.
Agree. Cannot work with PostgreSQL tables without this.
Agreed - this is atrocious. I've been battling with it for nearly two months now and am seriously fed up.
I need to work. I can't work with this.
It's critical for our team to have query folding disabled as default setting or actually have ability to set it to disabled. We have hundreds of reports and every time when we want to change something, we are forced to face refresh issue related to query folding.
This needs to happen. Going from PostgreSQL.Database() to Value.NativeQuery() with query folding enabled by default is breaking any query I try to load into Power BI from PostgreSQL.
This needs to get removed real quick... though given it's a PostgreSQL issue and any support I've tried to get from Microsoft in the past on PostgreSQL integration with Power BI has been met with "we don't have PostgreSQL on our machines", I'm not holding my breath on this one.
This has to be resolved as above please
