Our small non-profit with minimal users requires this for financial reporting. We do not have the funding for a Premium Workspace. We also need a more practical way for creating mailing lists based on donation criteria. Visualization software doesn't make sense for meeting this need as we have been forced to do right now in Power BI Online.

Our medium sized business uses Power Bi to track what will be invoiced in the next 12 months across 300 projects.
Often the billing is adjusted on many projects during a month. We need to be able to review what our prediction looked like last month, last quarter. So that we can compare it to our current prediction, and review what has changed.
If i can automatically run a paginated report, I can save the fee prediction at the start of every month.
At the moment it is a single point of failure that relies on one person manually creating a report. -

The reason is NO BRAINER. Every single person who has commented and voted has said PREMIUM is just Tooooooooooooooooo expensive for small/medium companies. (FULL STOP)

I am working at a 160-person company. We've transformed our business using Power BI datasets and need to be able to design paginated reports in-house. Doing this work with consultants is problematic, they do not have a long-term interest in creating and maintaining great datasets, we can manage our own reporting!!

what is also disappointing is that even with premium you need to be on A4 level pricing tier to use it.
If Pro users are able to use paginated reports I would expect the barrier to entry for premium to be reduced to A1.

As with the other comments below, for a small to medium sized business, it doesn't make sense to use power bi premium due to the costs. Without paginated reports for pro level users, it doesn't make sense to move to PowerBI.

I've built Power BI Solutions, published them online, installed gateways, shared the reports, ensured the data refreshes automatically and formatted them to be viewable both on a Mobile and a Desktop.
All of this work is for absolutely nothing when you have end users that want to receive a PDF which is automatically sent to them. Some users just don't want to use the software dynamically and want to be spoon fed their information (which is an understandable stance, everyone works differently). It's ridiculous that this feature is missing as it's now forcing us to purchase a third party software subscription to accomplish this. We have around 30 users that require certain reports - the premium price tag just isn't going to be considered.

As an SME, we're horrified to discover after we've migrated from SBS2008 ecosystem to O365, SPO and PBI Pro, that paginated reports aren't available without paying $5k a month for Premium license. These reports are crucial to our small business and we have 10 years worth of RDL already written, which now can't be published on SPO, and can't be recreated in PBI Pro as they're not supported. This really should be a basic offering and we're having to install Report Builder on every client that needs to run these paginated reports, which is a crude and inefficient workaround that flies in the face of the elegance of what Power BI is meant to be offering.

For small/medium orgs like mine, we want to go full in on Power BI but the high cost of Premium makes it unattractive. The alternative is to use a mix of Power BI Pro + SSRS, but from a management perspective we'd prefer to consolidate these into one tool.

For everyone who cannot afford PBI Premium pricing, take a look to https://www.seektable.com, its flat-table reports support web-view pagination + multipage table PDF exports (up to 50k rows in cloud version, ANY number of rows in self-hosted version!)

Really need this to convert smaller Norwegian customers to use PowerBI as their main reporting system. We need the possibility to print reports and send the reports by e-mail. Premium is too expensive for our clients.

Simply this is a blocker for Power BI when absent and a game changer when in place. Whether an interim subscription model between Power BI & Pro is required or a small increment in the very reasonable Pro Subscription? Slam Dunk, No Brainer....

It is important, because not all reporting is interactive, and the absence of this feature is likely preventing or discouraging some of the smaller companies from fully switching to Power BI platform as their bi platform.

In November 2019, paginated reports are only available for a subset of PowerBI premium SKUs. Making it available for all the PowerBI premium SKUs is a must for smaller companies working on cloud adoption.

The ability to publish paginated/Report Builder reports on the Power BI Service with our Pro licenses would be a huge benefit. We're a small organization with limited budget, so Premium is not an option for us, but the ability to produce paginated reports would meet our needs for some key use cases where the ability to page through and print tables with hundreds/thousands of rows is required - and that requirement cannot be met with the scrolling tables approach in Power BI Desktop.
