Come on Microsoft, have your Premium product with some wow features that some people will pay extra to have. But paginated reports, really? This is your bread and butter, I could only imagine use and sales of PowerBI Service increasing by making this a Pro feature. Please somebody in marketing research do the math!
This is a great product!
Along with Power Bi an Excellent product!
The only problem now is that we miss out on Paginated reports due to a PRO licence and can not utilise the great features of the Power Bi data set for reporting.

Because orgs that are considering SSRS as "free" (SQL server shops) and want to move their paginated reports to Power BI should have an entry point option lower than Premium to consider.
This should be available to Pro, because paginated reports is a core functionality for all organizations, not a premium feature which enterprises are interested.
Initially, it can be allowed to publish paginated reports to non-premium datasets, thus other pro users can execute them and export to PDFs. If MS thinks that scheduled mails shouldn't be free, then you can also charge them by pay per use. I think it will cover most business scenarios (with or without the need for scheduled reports) and will be a win-win case.
well, in order to have more people use your platform, you should know you have to grant more functions (the things they need) for people to use it, in order to compete with other competitor...
Can we get an update on the status of this?
And please change the name to SSRS 2, SSRS BI, SSRS Deux etc...
I also agree it makes it difficult to make the full shift when a client asks about all of the SSRS Reports they currently have, and what will happen to them.
No one likes trying to re-create an SSRS report in Power BI

This would be great to have with pro liceneses since Qlik has NPrinting available. We currently use Qlik but are looking at Power BI.
It makes no sense that this so useful and legacy feature of SSRS is only available premium capacity. This has been one of the most demanding requirements of business areas, especially areas that still deal with information at a managerial level and not just as strategic with existing dynamic dashboards. Apparently this is not so much a question of technical feasibility, as functionality exists in Premium, but a strategic and commercial issue of Microsoft. I ask for careful analysis on the subject.
Can we get an update on this?
Having Paginated Reports for Pro Users would help move us closer to a full adoption of Power BI at my company. Of course lowering the cost of the Premium SKU would also work...

Getting this a Pro feature would absolutely help us adopt this more areas that currently use Cognos and other "paginated" type tools. We already have a heavy footprint of Pro, so requiring it in Premium has been a blocker in some areas.
Come on gentlemen, please find way to get Power BI premium at a reasonable price for small to medium business or please make paginated reports available in Power BI pro.
I have the perfect application for this new solution, but unfortunately we are a small company and we can't justify $5K per month. Please give the little guys a break:(

Paginated reports are always going to be required by users, especially things like financial reports, transaction lists etc.
We're currently having to run two reporting solutions, interactive analytics in Power BI, and paginated reports in SSRS (on-prem, or VM in Azure). Users do not want to have to log in to different reporting tools depending on what type of query they have, especially when a solution does exist (just behind a paywall...).
Power BI Premium is just too expensive to justify for most small to medium sized businesses. This isn't a technical limitation for Microsoft, it's just a commercial decision that's actually limiting adoption of the Power BI service (at least with my customers).
Making this avaliable for Pro users would reduce one of the current gaps when moving from on premise solutions to e.g. SAAS solutions. The current need for premium makes migrating SSRS/RDL reprots to cloud very costly for smaller organizations that otherwise do not need or cant afford Power BI premium.
Paginated reports are simple reporting/analytic solutions. Needing to have Premium to use those at the high cost of Premium is not justifiable.
