How can we improve Power BI?

Default measure format to comma and zero decimals

Every time I create a measure I have to format it as “,” and 0 decimals. This appears to be the most common format and it would make sense to make this the default.

It would be better to be able to set your own default format, rather than be stuck with anyone else's idea of the most common format.

I get after my developers when they don't put this in, but I have to agree it should be the default...!!!! It was a good chuckle on a Friday that a lot of others hate this too! Please fix!

Why can't we set the format as an option for the pbix, instead of having one default value "locked-in"? This application has probably fewer user-selectable options than almost any other MS product!!

Or at least let us set these preferences in a blank file we can save as a PBIT and start from there.

Settings the default format for all data types globally, and at the report level would be fantastic.

Now data profiling has made its way into Power BI, the default should be appropriate to the data.
