Where we really need tooltips is in the Phone View design mode. In many cases, it is impossible to tell one object on the palette from another until you drag them to the canvas and resize them. The thumbnail images don't provide enough information.
Each object has a default name, but can be renamed by the developer. If those informative names showed up as tool tips while hovering over the objects on the palette the developer could tell which object they were dragging to the canvas.

We're using Power BI instead of other BI programs due to the ease of mobile conversion. It would be great to have this feature on mobile.

This is too big of a missing feature on the mobile app - please add.

Report tooltip looks great in powerBI desktop and PowerBI service, if the same feature available in mobile, that will looks so cool. I suggest developing team to add tooltip feature in mobile app also.

Please add support for Report Page-tool tips to the iPad/iPhone (or all mobile) apps. Love the feature, it let us design less cluttered reports without losing the access to extra details - but our users are mainly mobile, so it ends up useless for us.
Same here, users are often using tablet devices in meetings and the loss of tooltips greatly harms the perception of what this tool can do.
Our users love this feature, but they are also using tablets like iPads. And it is NOT working. We loose so much interaction when this is not possible on the moblie devices.
Please make this possible!
The Report page Tooltip is a great feature, giving the user an excellent way to get a quick discovery by doing a new popup visual for that specific value or bar.
