PowerBI Report - Scheduling and Send by Email on specific date and time for the particualr users .EX : Salary slip report should get generated on every month of 1 st date at some time for the group of employess.

This is a critical feature as far as seamless distribution of reports is concerned. MicroStrategy does it effortlessly and inorder to switch to Power BI, this will be a crucial feature.
This is a feature our Cognos users have come to depend upon. Though there is a desire to replace Cognos, without this feature we would have a user uprising if we did so.

We have been holding off on expansion of Power BI in the organization since emailed reports on a set schedule is the primary form of delivery we need for various reasons.
Row level security limitations on subscriptions are also a huge impediment to further rollout.
this is a must.
Great - and by the way - it should be possible with a mail alert that not only works in Power BI Pro (I'm guessing it would be solved with a link to the report) but also in Power BI embedded (I do not know how to solve this by a link, when it regards a third party website (that is not Sharepoint).

I try it and it's very easy to use. Basically we can select dashboards/reports, schedule and select the email destination.
This is needed. From a user perspective "easy" wins every time, regardless of how tech savvy they are. If it is easier for a user to open their email and find a static pdf waiting for them, that will be their method of choice, and they can easily forward this along to other interested parties.

What Laz said. It makes little sense and is even a bit annoying. But, its true that going old-school with emails would assist a lot in adoption.
Anyone who works with a lot of business users without a ton of tech savvy is feeling this pain.

Even better if a user can sign up for the report to be emailed to them on a schedule that they wish. Example: One user may want it once a week where another wants it once a month.

This is very much needed!
What I find in the data driven journey adoption, is that business users still want to have their reports waiting for them in their email.
Now, I totally can’t grasp this concept as the ability of log into PBI cloud and have me reports/Dashboards waiting for me after being refreshed, seems like the best thing possible.
However, for many senior level people this is not the case at all! They want to have an email sent to them, with the report attached within that email.
This was in fact a reason for producing some reports in SSRS instead of PBI.
