Export charts directly to excel
It would be very useful if Power BI allow to export charts directly to excel without lose the format. Exporting just like values with format.

Please take care of this request! Not having this possibility is an incredibly huge limit to Power BI.
This is solved - we've built and launched a Chrome extension called BI Helper Matrix for table and matrix data exports from Power BI. See my post dated Feb 24, 2020.

BI Helper Matrix
BI Helper Matrix is a powerful and easy to use Chrome extension for Matrix and Table data exports from Power BI. You can download your Power BI matrix and table visuals as MS Excel files, with support for full vertical and horizontal scrolling of the visuals.
The Excel file retains your matrix data pivots, so you continue to see your information at the SAME level of detail as in your Power BI report. Download and test BI Helper Matrix at https://bihelper.tech/bihelper_matrix.html.

Please add these option, it´s really crucial
Please add a "Export as shown" option. It's so incredibly frustrating trying to explain to users why they cannot get the data they see in front of them.

It is a necessity for anyone working with business. Otherwise, this decreases value of Power BI reporting.
This is a key capability needed to get urgently in Power BI. This capability would increase the adoption exponentially!
this is a major bottle next to finally have all in power bi. end users want to have this function!

This would be a wonderful addition!
we have a Matrix with hierarchy State/District/county and 3 values columns. only for one value will be shows at all the levels, for the renaming 2 values columns user wants data at State level only. In the Source we do not have data at state level it's only Visual adding up.
But when I export Matrix does not include Sub-Totals and Grand-Totals at State level. that we means we end up with no data for Column2, Columns 3 values.
Won't be able to make the switch from QlikView to Power BI until this problem is resolved, we have too many users who need to be able to export exactly what is seen in the matrix to avoid manually pivoting and calculating. In QlikView this is not a problem, can export any table and maintain proper formatting. Super disappointing.
