Link text boxes to bookmarks
It is currently possible to link inserted shapes and pictures to bookmarks, but I find that I have to insert a shape around a text box in order to create a bookmark "button". It would save frustration and promote efficiency if I could just link the text box to a bookmark.
this is much needed feature in powerbi.
@Microsoft it is been more than year , are you guys working on it.
Or allow adding text to a shape. So frustrating when we have something so close yet so far.

Definitely behind this. A workaround I'm using for now:
Insert Shape > Line. Set to 100% transparency. Turn on Title and insert your text. Turn on Background and/or Border to define your button's box. Copy/paste and adjust as needed to make your bookmark links. Unfortunately you can't vertical center it, but it's still better than keeping up with a text box AND a shape.
Yeah, workaround works fine but if there are multiple buttons it would be very tedious to repeat this task. T please consider adding this function.
This would be awesome!!

Great idea, another workaround I found would be:
1.Use the formatting tab and send your text image to the back
2. Overlay a rectangle shape slightly larger than the text box
3. Set the fill and line options to 100% transparency
4. Make sure the shape is brought to the front (using the formatting tab)
5. Insert a link feature to the shape. When clicked, it appears as if you are clicking on the text box.
Hope this helps!
This would be great! ..... A little workaround in the meantime, involves inserting the 'line' shape, changing colour to blue, rotating it 90 degrees and giving it 'Title Text' of the text you want to have as the link (you can make this blue as well). minimize it slightly, Turn 'link on' and point to the desired bookmark, and you have an underlined text hyperlink!! Bonus is that it is only one object and can be copied and pasted between your report pages
