Scroller custom visual issues
The Scroller visual is handy but has a few issues:
It is a CPU hog. If I have a report page open with this visual on it my 4 core PC runs at a constant 100%.
Perhaps because of the above, the scroll is not very smooth.
To use the scroller you are forced to select a numerical value and aggregation which is not always required (e.g. twitter feed scrolling). Picking an arbitrary value field produces a result that may confuse the user. Tried using time formated as a numerical field but this is automatically truncated to a xx.xbn value and there is no option to prevent that unlike other visuals.
