scheduled export of a report to pdf
It would be nice if there is an option to have a scheduled export of a report to PDF. A nice to have feature would be to directly e-mail it to people so they are being notified of the latest report.
Another update on this item – users now have the ability to set up scheduled subscriptions with paginated reports and 6 different formats, along with parameters per subscription to allow further personalization. There is also now the ability to create paginated reports against any Power BI dataset in the service, and we’re planning to add drillthrough from Power BI to Paginated Reports in the short term.
We still have plans to support e-mail attachments for Power BI reports as well in the coming months, and we’ll share more specifics once we get closer to starting that work.
Can this be scheduled to run and save a report as a picture file? I want to run based on given slicers (setup rules in adv for the scheduling) - eg I have a report that multiple cost centre managers use and I wish to auto save based on relevant month filter and also filtered for each user access rights permissioning. If I can save these as à app picture fikes, I can them embes back into management reporting easily etx. I'd be very grateful for any help/advide.
When publishing to a PDF, text in a text box goes from left alignment, to center alignment. I think it should stay the same.

I would love to be able to schedule reoccurring emails monthly/weekly/daily of our reports/dashboards to anyone we need to.
Please add this feature in Desktop.
This is a major issue for issuing reports. MUST! be able to PDF. Many contracts my company is part of contain very sensitive information. It is totally unacceptable to send a file that contains this information. A pdf is our normal avenue of distribution and Power BI does not have this capability
The reports are great except our sales people and management ask if they can send the report to a customer. The sent report should be a static view that cannot be manipulated and being able to choose the filters and sorting, then export the report to a pdf with all of the formatting is essential for adoption
Any ETA on this?
It can be done only if one publishes to the web service. Even then though, formatting is at the whim of the browser and has been generally awful in my experience. Chrome has the best rendering of the PDF, using it's Save feature.
Would be great if PowerBI could export to PDF with true WYSIWYG functionality.
Estimados, soy publicadora web y necesito manejar continuamente archivos pdf.
No puedo subirlos a la red porque las bases contienen información confidencial.
Que opciones tenemos? Permite exportar a Excel? O a Doc?

I agree with . We like to print the data and analyze and discuss within team about . So far we do print screens - very uncomfortable
Can you please provide a method to print or export to pdf, PowerPoint, etc.. Ridiculous that the visuals cannot be printed.

I too am looking for a replacement for SSRS. And since Office 365 SharePoint doesn't really support 'surfacing' SSRS reports for the user, we are stuck. PowerBI has gotten us so far, but the printing options/capabilities have shown to be a roadblock to adoption.

wow, that's a fantastic news
I wanted to let you know the team is looking this
Would love this feature!!
It would be greatly helpful to have the ability to export a PDF, CSV, .png, etc of different reports that are embedded within websites. This type of web application serves the purpose of a querying tool for colleagues/clients to use key cuts of data in their own software tools.
